BBFC Launches Unique Competition For Jurassic World

For our UK-based readers, this is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to design a BBFC Black Card for Jurassic World Dominion! The British Board Of Film Classification (BBFC) has launched a unique competition for budding artists and Jurassic World fans.

If you are between the ages of 12 to 16, you have the chance to create the official black card for Jurassic World Dominion. The black card is shown before the start of every film and denotes the rating, the content the film contains alongside the signatures of the board’s directors. In addition to having their card projected in front of every UK cinema screening of the movie, the lucky winner will receive four tickets to a special screening of the film, a goody bag, and a framed copy of their winning BBFC Black Card design.

Entries for the competition are now open across the UK and will close on May 11th. Learn more about the competition and how to enter at the BBFC’s website.

Meet Giganotosaurus, the New Jurassic World Dinosaur

“I wanted something that felt like the Joker,” teases writer-director Colin Trevorrow of the Giganotosaurus (‘Giga’ for short). “It just wants to watch the world burn.” In an interview teaser with Empire magazine, Colin Trevorrow introduces the Giganotosaurus dinosaur which is making its debut in the final installment of the Jurassic World trilogy — and lives up to that mandate given by Claire Dearing in the first movie: “Bigger. Scarier. More teeth.”
