Bryce Dallas Howard To Speak at TED2022 Conference
At this year’s gathering of minds, Bryce will deliver a speech at the TED2022 Conference under the theme, “A New Era”!
About this year’s theme, the organization says, “A lot has changed since we last gathered in Vancouver for TED three years ago. We return not for more of the same, wonderful though that was, but to celebrate a new era. The future beckons with extraordinary possibilities we couldn’t have dreamt of. In medicine, in AI, in clean energy, in the ways we work, the ways we learn, and in the fundamental economic and social systems that underpin everything else.”

Puzzle Game “Maquette” Receives BAFTA Games Awards Nomination
Developed by Graceful Decay and Annapurna Interactive, Maquette is set in a recursive world where players experience the life cycle of a relationship through spatial puzzles. This week, BAFTA Games nominated Maquette for “Debut Game,” an award given to the best first game from any studio or individual!
Bryce Dallas Howard and Seth Gabel play romantic couple Kenzie and Michael, characters who guide players through the narrative but are not explicitly seen on screen. Bryce says, “If you’re like me and love ‘choose your own adventure’ games, this one will equally have your heart and your mind solving puzzles as the story unfolds.” Read more about the experience recording for the video game in Bryce’s exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

TIME Magazine’s 2022 Women of the Year
Meet TIME magazine’s 2022 Women of the Year, including human-rights lawyer Amal Clooney, musician Kacey Musgraves, Afghan journalist Zahra Joya, and actor and activist Kerry Washington.
Speaking of the brilliant work of these honorees, the magazine stated, “We chose to spotlight leaders who are working to create a better future for women everywhere. Our 2022 Women of the Year list features 12 individuals who have reached across communities, generations, and borders to fight for a more inclusive and equitable world.” Learn more about each of these modern-day muses here. And don’t forget, International Women’s Day is this Tuesday, March 8.
