Bryce Dallas Howard is an award-winning director and actor, working across narrative, documentary, and branded storytelling. Known for her genre-forward instincts and grounded performances, she brings a distinct sensibility to every story she tells — one that blends humor, heart, and spectacle.

As a director, Bryce has helmed standout episodes across 5 seasons in the Star Wars universe — Skeleton Crew, The Mandalorian, and The Book of Boba Fett — earning praise for her intuitive character work, action precision, and deep respect for lore.

Her feature documentary DADS (Apple TV+) was celebrated for its humor and emotional warmth, and her latest documentary, PETS, is now on Disney+. She is attached to direct and produce All of Her (Lionsgate) and Disney’s reimagining of Flight of the Navigator. She has also directed branded shorts and commercials for Coca-Cola, SpaceX, Vanity Fair, Canon, and Volkswagen. Her films have screened at Sundance, TIFF, and Cannes (Un Certain Regard), and have received numerous accolades, including an Oscar shortlist in 2012 for her short film When You Find Me.

As an actor, Bryce stars in the upcoming British action-comedy Deep Cover (Amazon MGM Studios) and is known for her roles in Argylle, Jurassic World, Rocketman, The Help, The Village, Black Mirror (SAG-nominated), and As You Like It (Golden Globe-nominated). From thrillers to sci-fi to Shakespeare, her performances are celebrated for their boldness, vulnerability, and emotional depth.

Bryce is the founder of Nine Muses Entertainment and an acclaimed speaker, whose TED Talk on digital identity was named one of the “most newsworthy ideas of 2022.” She also taught the Nine Muses Lab at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, launching an ecosystem of multi-hyphenate talent rooted in mentorship, authorship, and creative courage.

Whether in front of or behind the camera, Bryce is passionate about telling epic yet personal, character-driven stories — stories with emotional truth, visual imagination, and moments of humor that make the heart feel even bigger. She’s equally devoted to mentoring the next generation of creators to do the same.
