Bryce Dallas Howard

Founder | Director, Actor, Educator & Speaker

Bryce Dallas Howard is a multi-hyphenate creator who continues to work both on-screen and behind the camera. 

As an actor, Howard recently starred in Matthew Vaughn’s spy thriller Argylle, the Jurassic World franchise, and Rocketman. She’s also known for her SAG-nominated performance in Black Mirror’s “Nosedive” episode, her Golden-Globe nominated performance in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of As You Like It, and performances in The Help, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and The Village. Howard next stars in the Amazon MGM Studios British comedy, Deep Cover.

As a filmmaker, Howard directed episodes on several live-action Star Wars series including The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and the upcoming Skeleton Crew. Her documentary features include DADS on AppleTV+ and an upcoming documentary with Disney+ in 2025. Howard is attached to direct and produce All of Her for Lionsgate and the Flight of the Navigator remake for Disney.

Howard has directed multiple campaigns for clients such as Canon, MoroccanOil, Vanity Fair, Glamour Magazine, Shift4 and SpaceX (2021 Super Bowl), Volkswagen, and most recently Coca Cola for its award-winning 2023 Christmas Campaign (“The Note”) as part of The Santa Series. She made her directorial debut with Canon’s Project Imagin8ion and has gone on to screen her short films at Sundance Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and Cannes Film Festival (Un Certain Regard selection). She has received numerous accolades for her work, including being shortlisted for an Oscar in for her half-hour film When You Find Me.

Her love of storytelling has led her to create the Nine Muses Lab as part of the faculty at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Nia Farrell

Director, Development & Production

Nia Farrell is the Director of Development & Production at Nine Muses, supporting its slate of projects, co-facilitating the company’s mentorship and emerging artist programming, and managing the social media channels.

A member of the first Nine Muses Lab cohort at NYU, Nia has since gone on to support Bryce Dallas Howard on the live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Skeleton Crew (Disney+).

She is a co-producer on an upcoming documentary feature for Disney+, directed by Howard and produced by Imagine Docs, and will Co-EP the feature film All of Her for Nine Muses. In 2021, Nia joined Bryce and Rachel Friedman in the SXSW EDU panel “Creating Curricular Partnerships: Nine Muses Lab.”

In addition to their work with Nine Muses, Nia makes work alongside Talia Paulette Oliveras as “Ta-Nia.” As a theatre-making duo, they have collaborated with and/ or presented work in New York City at Playwrights Realm, Soho Rep, National Black Theatre, and Ars Nova, and internationally at Schauspielhaus Zürich, Theatertreffen Stückemarkt, Schauspiel Dortmund, and Hessische Landestheater Marburg.
